988 Mental Health Hotline Having Difficulty Launching In States

2 things.
1. This can be fixed by merging all the centers around the country into 1. Like you can do the work from home stuff like other call centers so you get people all over. But merging it lowers the administration cost by a huge amount, federally only has to worry about it (like since it is 1 center it can be federally funded), and there is less problems like bouncing the call.
2. This doesn't even come close to fixing the problem. Like the one lady said the people want to be herd. But the leading cause of this is money issues or stuck in poverty. A "I hear you and I understand you" doesn't fix this. In fact, the stuff they have at hand on what the person can use to help. A lot of times the person already knows this. Like as someone who is autistic, doesn't do drugs, doesn't drink, and have no other problem. There is an 85% chance of being unemployed even being college educated. LOOK IT UP!!! But in NC where I'm at, there is NO help. Like there is nothing for autistic adults almost anywhere. But even more in my state. And the only help you can get is SSI. But SSI at max only pays $700 a month, and if you have $2k (between clothes, a car which you use to try to get a job or work, etc) then you don't qualify and you are kicked off. The kicker is if you are under 25 years old you can get a special bank account with is a loop hole in this. BUT if you are over 25 then sucks to be you.

I wish NBC News and other mainstream would cover that. That by fixing basic needs, it will dramatically reduce the rates based on the reasons given by people that want to off themselves or have tried. That the learn to code BS doesn't work, fully remote not taking off is hurting people, and if you are ever homeless it is completely impossible to get out of that without extreme luck or a good support network and housing first programs statistically has fixed that plus cost the gov far less. Like all people get is call this line, and the world's problems magically go away. When in reality that isn't the case.

This gives me the creeps. Any excuse not to make life better. What a sad commentary on how bad things are run that now you need a number solely for suicides. Let's get better people in charge. I called up the sheriff once just to ask for help with finding a place to live and the psychopath twisted my words to claim I told him I was suicidal!!!!! I said no such thing. You can't trust anyone in charge in this society anymore. Especially about something as delicate and private as 'menal health'. What creepery are they up to now.

When it comes to Mental health, keep these things in mind… Sometimes the most basic stuff can drive someone nuts:
-Have they had enough sleep in the last 48 Hours?
-Have they spent a ton of time in traffic in the last 48?
-Have they been intimate recently and reaching climax or whatever?
-Have they had enough calories in the last 48 hours?
-Has the state made their meds hard to get/not get at all?
-Have they been able to bathe?
-Are they using their phone too much? Keeping a laser focus on Bidet/Trumpfhy?
-Are they in a bad relationship?
(-Have they had any time to focus on religious beliefs or none at all?)
