
Deputies receive mental health training to deescalate situations among peers

A former Orange County corrections officer tried suicide by police in Osceola County, according to authorities. However, responding deputies withheld their fire, because they knew their fellow officer was having a mental health crisis.

As a retired officer of corrections, these officers is going through a lot of shit, not from the inmates but from their supervisor's, and no one lessening to them on the outside of Duty, I glad this officer didn't step out into the streets and die, he's not the only one looking for help,
