The Healthcare Support Worker Certificate for Children and Young People Mental Health Inpatient Services is the first bespoke mandatory training package designed for this staff group. The intended outcome is to improve the quality of care delivered to children and young people in mental health inpatient units across England. The aim of HCSW Certificate is to provide a much-requested opportunity to endorse and develop core skills, knowledge, awareness and confidence for healthcare support worker staff working within children and young people’s mental health inpatient settings.
