Ok but the health care benefits that your talking about already exist. This bill doesn’t add new benefits it just extends existing benefits, so I’m not sure how keeping the existing policy reduces future costs?
Then you talk about the seniors of their country. That part of the bill doesn’t start til 2026. Did you not understand the question? Or just not listen? A policy that doesn’t start until 4 years from now has no economic effect today

From my point of view this is about saving the U.S gov.
SS and medicare are the biggest spending after military. About 10 years ago when QE had a few years and rates were 0. There was projetion about the budget that said SS practicly broke by 2040.
Think this is going to be a big tax hike on american middle class. Think like uk. Good health care, high taxes.
