Introducing HEE's AHP Support Workforce Programme
The national HEE AHP Support Workforce programme aims to have consistent, occupation-specific & sustainable education and career development pathways for AHP support workers, and fair opportunities to access these for England by 2024.
Our work will ensure that patients, service users and their families and carers have access to a skilled and well-trained support workforce. We are working collaboratively with stakeholders, professional bodies and Trade unions, royal colleges, NHS England and employers. Our collective action will help to improve education standards, access and uptake for this workforce.
