Legacy in Medicine, Leader in Public Health: Ho Din Award Winner Dr. Cutrell

As a student at UT Southwestern medical school, Dr. James Cutrell received the prestigious Ho Din Award in 2007 for exemplifying the qualities embodied in all great physicians: medical wisdom combined with human understanding.
Dr. Cutrell went on to become the Program Director of the Infectious Diseases Fellowship Program at UT Southwestern and has become a leading figure in UTSW’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
On May 12, Dr. Cutrell had the honor of presenting the Ho Din Award to this year’s recipient, Dr. Cayenne Price, during UTSW’s Commencement Ceremonies.
