Period poverty and how Candor Health Education is trying to help | Day Time Chicago

YouTube video

Candor Health Education was recently on Day Time Chicago to share what we as an organization are doing to help those who do not have access to menstrual products.

1 in 3 low income women experience period poverty and sometimes need to choose between buying food and buying menstrual supplies.

Candor collects menstrual products through our amazon wish list, we create kits for students that include regular and overnight pads, tampons, pantie liners, and instructions on how to insert a tampon.
