There is an ongoing controversy related to School Uniforms where some Muslim girl students of Udipi, Karnataka have been banned from wearing Hijabs in Schools. It resulted in many protests and counter-protests, where different people came with their own uniforms saying that it’s their right to wear Saffron, or whatever they like. It has now taken the form of nationwide religious controversy. But what is the exact matter? Should we even care about Religion in Schools? Is this Secularism? What action did the government take? I believe soft secularism models (only when enforced properly) give an individual peace of coexisting with the society along with self expression.

Why do we need religions in school.
Rules should be obeyed by everyone.most Muslim girls are forced to wear hijab. Anyhow it's school, where we make friends and memories, so don't spoil that life with religions abstinence.

So we aren't gonna talk about how a school uniform is important? I remember that students weren't allowed to wear anything except school uniform in my times, plus oiled hair, cut nails, black shoes even though I didn't like shoes at all etc. But those things aren't compulsary for others! The purpose of uniform is to tell students that they all are same and I think this is far important than individual beliefs imposed by dead people thousand years before
Giving equal rights to every human being is the most important thing to promote in humans. We all should respect our and other's religion also if we want we should follow and respect the same!
In the end education is the most important part in all this! People don't read and find out facts but riot on politicinans OPINIONS!
Secularism is not speaking trash about others or their religions but accepting the facts and supporting each others. Leaving out the wrong paths and negativity to generate and promote positivity.
Don't just listen, find out the facts. Check what's right as a human and then choose the right path which will unite us. Promote humanity!

Everybody should wear simple clothes and if someone wants to wear their religious cloth then also this is not an issue. Let them wear what they want, who are u to judge what they should wear.
In our religion Hijab is compulsory . No one force girls to wear Hijab.
