In the last week I’ve spoken to 5 people in serious mental crisis that exhausted efforts in this Texas city to find help. The shortest “wait time” was 3 months. THREE MONTHS! In that time they may hurt themselves or worse. This is unacceptable.

Beto, can you please bring up the back log of untested rape kits in Texas and other states. One 13 y o in Texas, brutally raped in her home, waited 20 years. The serial rapist was found, but by then the statute of limitations had expired, rapist that matched the rape kit was set free. As of 2/2021 Texas had 6,108 in backlog. Cronyn stated in 2019 Tx had the funding to address the backlog. Was the backlog cleared? If not , what happened to the money. I don’t live in Tx but know you would be the best Gov since Anne Richards. Big hug from AL.
