Women's Health Ambulatory Care Unit Brings Host of Benefits to Patients

Here, Lead Nurse for Women’s Health, Claire Adams, explains the positive impact that the Women’s Health Ambulatory Care Unit at Nevill Hall Hospital has had on patients in the Health Board area.

The unit offers minor Gynaecological procedures outside of the traditional inpatient environment, allowing patients to attend the clinic for their procedure and return home on the same day. The unit offers clinics for post-menopausal bleeding, vulva assessments, urodynamics, Myosure tissue, endometriosis, and fertility.
